Ukoo ISO Maker Description
Ukoo ISO Maker is a handy Windows application that lets you create ISO image files and burn them to discs. There are three main things this application can do, namely file to ISO or CD to ISO conversion and ISO burning, all of these available right in the main window. While that’s a very good thing for rookies, professional users may be a bit disappointed because this means that only a few configuration options are actually available. And truth is, Ukoo ISO Maker was designed to be simple, so there are no dedicated configuration screens included in the app. If you wish to create a new ISO image for example, it’s enough to simply add files and folders to the queue and hit the “File to ISO” button in the main window. The same steps are available for the other two features as well, so everything is pretty simple. Rookies usually need just a few seconds to figure out the purpose of each feature, but a help section is also available to provide assistance whenever it’s needed. Furthermore, the app works smoothly on all Windows versions, but we’ve noticed a moderate CPU usage during the conversion process. The burning engine however is fast and reliable, working just as good as any other dedicated burning solution. Overall, Ukoo ISO Maker is a decent piece of software that comes with basic and user-friendly tools.
