TwoDirs Description

TwoDirs is yet another Norton/Midnight Commander clone. You can explore your folders and files in a two-panel layout, transfer files and folders between panels, and execute all kind of classic commands for file and directory management: create files and folders, move, copy and delete. There are some interesting extra features, like the "Exe to Zip" and vice-versa, view compressed file contents, an FTP client and more. Some things I liked from the program, like the shortcuts to drives (floppy, hard disks and cd/dvd drives), using icons to easily identify them. There are some other handy shortcuts, like the Control Panel button, Favorites and "Connect Network Drive" dialog. While using TwoDirs I detected some glitches too, like the lack of a guide when dragging the vertical division between panels. And one more: although you can select the preferred language during the installation process, the program doesn't remember this choice and displays himself in german.
