Transport 2005 is a powerful program that offers a complete solution to taxi and smaller courier companies. Including Job entry, assignment, billing and tracking. Based on the design of our Logistics2005 V3 solution, Transport 2005 is a set of 3 application, developed using Microsoft's latest technologies (Microsoft .Net 2005, Microsoft SQL Server 2005) and integrates with Microsoft MapPoint 2004, Word, Outlook and TomTom Navigator 3. The core application is designed for Microsoft Windows XP and allows one or more users to manage jobs, customers, drivers and vehicles. The second application is designed for the Pocket Pc and allows drivers to get their jobs and send back completion notifications in transit using GPRS. The third application is a web based application, utilizing web services to facilitate communication between the driver and the office.
