TrafficCompressor Description

TrafficCompressor is a useful tool that allows you to lighten your computer's Internet traffic by compressing the information. TrafficCompressor doesn't directly compresses the Internet traffic; it sends all the information to the TrafficCompressor Server. There, the information is processed and then it is sent back to your computer. TrafficCompressor allows you to compress web pages, pictures, scripts, email messages received over the POP3 or IMAP4 protocols including their attachments, instant messenger traffic, Usenet traffic, IRC traffic (6667-6670 ports only), and some online games with standard ports. All the information that is previously compressed is not decreased, e.g. ZIP, MP3, EXE files, and FTP, HTTPS, SMTP traffic. Some of the advantages about using TrafficCompressor are: it works with any web browser, email client and connection type. No configuration is required; once you install the program, you have to login and TrafficCompressor will automatically detect all the network activity and will ask you to enable traffic compression for each program.
