Cursory is a small program that makes it possible to use the keyboard to control the mouse pointer using the cursor keys. Alternatively it can be used to generate mouse clicks using the keyboard while still using the mouse to control cursor movement. When Cursory is run from the Start menu, you will see an icon appear on the taskbar to indicate that the program is running: This icon indicates that Cursory functions are activated. Cursory can be enabled or disabled by clicking the taskbar icon. A red "X" on the icon indicates the disabled state. While Cursory is running, the following functions are available: * Press the left Ctrl key briefly to perform a left click when the key is released. Note that if any other key is pressed while Ctrl is held down, Cursory will not perform the action, and so normal Keyboard Shortcuts using the Ctrl key can be used as normal without a mouse click being generated each time. * Press the right Ctrl key to perform a right click when the key is released. * HOLD the left Ctrl key down for a longer interval to perform a drag (click and hold) when the key is released. Press Ctrl again to end the drag. While the drag is in progress, a Lock icon will appear next to the mouse pointer. * Press the right shift key briefly to activate mouse movement with the cursor keys * Hold the right shift key for a longer interval and release to carry out a teleport operation Additional features You can get Cursory to run on startup by right clicking the taskbar menu and checking the "Run on Startup" menu item.
