It features basic options only, so it can be used by anyone, regardless of previous experience with such applications.No installation requiredThere is no setup pack involved, which makes Timezone Converter portable. You can drop the JAR file to any part of the hard disk and just click it to run, provided that you have Java installed on your computer. There is also the option to save the tool to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC effortlessly and without previous installers. What's more, the app does not modify Windows registry settings or create extra files on the disk, thus leaving no traces behind after its removal. Straightforward UI and optionsThe interface is based on a single window with a plain and simple layout, where all you have to do is enter time, pick the source and destination time zone, in order to make the conversion. In addition, it is possible to swap the source and destination with one click. There are no other notable options provided by this software utility. Evaluation and conclusionThe app has a good response time and does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. We have not come across any difficulties in our tests, since Timezone Converter did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Although it does not come packed with complex features, Timezone Converter offers a straightforward solution to converting between time zones and it can be used by anyone with ease.
