The Sims 3 Pets is an expansion for the popular simulator. As you may have guessed from the name, it allows you to bring pets into the game. You can create different types of dogs, cats and horses. The creation tool lets you pick from a variety of breeds and then customize each pet to your liking. I was able to create Sim versions of my Cocker Spaniel and Poodle that looked quite real. One great thing about creating these virtual pets is that you can also give them specific personality traits. Your new pets can be trained to do a variety of things in the game. The dogs will learn how to fetch a toy and even find a date for its owner, and the horses can run and jump. Your new best friends can leave your Sim house as well. You can take your dog for a walk to the Park or to many other places. You can also ride your horse. The Sims 3 Pets requires Sims 3 to be installed. The installation process couldn't really be any simpler. The wizard will first update your version of Sims 3 and then proceed to install Pets. I installed it on a clean installation of Sims 3 and I didn't experience any problems at all. The game ran quite well on a virtualized copy of Windows 7 on my Mac, so I don't think any modern laptop will have problems running it. The Sims 3 Pets is a very entertaining expansionб and if you like animals and enjoy playing The Sims, you will absolutely love it. José Fernández Editor rating:
