The premise of the game is very simple and it involves Tobi, the main protagonist who is entrusted with the responsibility of recovering the Rainbow Machine. You can have to guide him in the quest and in the way uncover puzzles and even get the chance to discover hidden treasures. When you launch the Rainbow Machine 1.0 game you are transported to a wonder land where you have to deal with a whole group of rather obnoxious Klepto Rats and their equally pesky leader, the Big Boss. The antagonists have vanished with the Rainbow Machine and have plans sell the priceless machine. As they have hidden the pieces it up to you to guide Tobi and find the different pieces and bring everything together. Using the brilliant Blue Sphere you would get the chance to bring out treasure charts. Moreover you would have to skillfully negotiate the Rebounder bars to control the sphere as per your requirements. During your quest you are likely to face puzzles that your test your grey cells to their limits. Also the bad Klepto Rats are their to welcome you in strength on each island and you move ahead in your quest. The overall graphics and visual effects are relatively good when evaluated from a reference of an arcade style game. The sound effects are excellent and even the background track is catchy. The Rainbow Machine 1.0 earns a score of three ratings for its engaging premise, interesting challenges and seamless game play.
