TestHD Description

TestHD application was developed to be a command line Amiga harddisk test utility. Tests access to a native Amiga harddisk attached to the PC. Will first perform basic access test through Windows NT and then attempt to access the harddisk through ADFlib. Be sure to read the ADF View help file about using native drives before you use this utility. Usage: TestHD - is the physical disk drive number of the disk attached to the PC. Usually your C: drive is disk 0, the secondary disk is number 1 and so on. - is the volume on the Amiga disk to access. 0 is the first volume (partition), 1 is the second. - The -c flag turns on the directory cache. Examples: TestHD 1 - does a basic test of your secondary disk drive TestHD 1 -p 1 - does a basic test on partition 2 of your secondary disk drive
