Staxofax is a simple and useful application that acts as an office agenda and allows you to store addresses, emails, names and contact details, as well as URLs, pictures, graphic elements or text. It is a suitable tool for creating a backup for information files or contact cards.Gridded viewThe application’s layout resembles a spreadsheet with multiple fields that support text, pictures and graphic elements. Right click on a field prompts a dialogue window, with several tools for content editing. You can add text and format it, convert the letters to upper case, strip HTML or ASCII code elements, wrap the lines or clean email messages. You may also add a highlight color to each field, in order to mark its priority or view it quicker. If you insert an URL, the software converts it immediately to a bookmark, so you can access the correspondent Web address with one click. The webpage opens in your preferred browser. Similarly, if you enter an email address, one click can prompt your email client with an opened message for the selected recipient. Additionally, any phone number can be dialed via Windows Phone dialer. Graphic designerStaxofax features a graphic designer and editor that enables you to create shapes and drawings and insert them in a field. You can draw a shape from scratch, import it from a file or duplicate it and paste it from another field. You can import image files from local folders or from clipboard, create a collection, then insert them in the fields. Calendar, credentials and a markerYou can access the program’s calendar function and add reminders for every day, the same way you insert text, shapes or images to a field. Additionally, fields can be filled with logon sets, which means you can add a combination of URL and login credentials, such as user names and passwords. A hand marker indicates the fields that contain URLs, email addresses or phone numbers, for quick identification. Moreover, you can indicate an urgent item located in a field by placing a custom hand marker next to the selected clip.
