SqlScriber Description

SQLScriber was designed to help Oracle developers to generate easy to use and informative documentation regarding the contents of schemas (packages, tables, constraints, indexes, etc.). It generates a set of standalone HTML framesets that contain the relevant data about each element. These HTML pages can be easily uploaded to a development website for sharing amongst a development team and can be regenerated at will using the SQLScriber GUI. The style of the documentation is based on the JavaDocs look-and-feel so that Java developers feel familiar with the environment. The documentation that SQLScriber produces is not connected in a "live" fashion to the database. Once produced, it can be loaded onto a laptop or file server that is not even connected to the database.
