Soft Limiter Description

The plug is very simple. It works relatively fast. It is understandable (for ordinary users), and it is easy to use. Soft Limiter functions in 3 steps: Step 1: The original sound is hard-limited to the given level. Step 2: The limited sound is mixed with a dose of the original sound to prevent digital distortions. Step 3: The transformed sound is amplified to the previous level. softness = 1 means "do nothing" softness = 0 means "hard limiting" Soft Limiter was written to process iRiver E100 recordings. It seems that ordinary users are happy to have such thing. It might also be useful for mastering podcasts.
