Smart Screen Recorder Description

Smart Screen Recorder is a software application which helps you record actions taken on the screen and save them to the hard drive as video files, such as AVI, WMV, MP4, MPG, MOV, FLV, 3GP, ASF and SWF. It also lets capture pictures of the desktop in PNG, JPG, BMP and PPM formats. The interface has a clean and minimal design, and it only consists of a menu bar and a few buttons. As a result, it can be used by anybody, be they experienced or not. This tool enables you to capture the entire screen, a custom area or a specified window. Most actions available have a keyboard shortcut assigned, so that they can be performed faster, yet a small drawback is that they cannot be customized. From the settings panel, you can choose to capture the mouse pointer, display a countdown before recording, disable the screen saver and minimize the utility to the system tray during capture and keep the aspect ratio. It is also possible to input movie info such as author, clip name and copyright message. It does not put a strain on your computer’s performance, as it requires low CPU and memory, even while recording.
