Skype Revealer is designed to help you read the information stored locally by Skype without using the program interface. If you want to view a certain message or contact information without going online, this app can assist you. If you are having problems with your Internet connection and cannot login into Skype, this tool allows you to reveal the information stored in the local database. You can view your account information and other important details with just a few clicks. The application features a simple interface that allows you to select the local user in order to retrieve the data. This tool enables you to view the chat messages, SMS and file transfer for any user that previously accessed Skype on the computer. The personal data is organized in different tabs which enable you to access the desired information. For instance, the Contacts tab includes the list of all the Skype friends and displays their birthday, location and telephone numbers. You can use a filtering option when browsing the chat messages in order to view all the conversations with a specific friend. Since the conversations usually include multiple lines, this feature is very helpful. All the information can only be read from the program interface which does not allow you to modify the entries. Unfortunately, the app does not include the option to export the retrieved data in order to analyze it later. The program cannot access the database if Skype is running and includes the option to stop the program. It requires insignificant resources to run and displays the details almost instantly. Although Skype Revealer intends to retrieve only your personal information, it can also be used by other users to access your information.
