Site Capture Description

Site Capture is an easy-to-use, small and smart web-buidling utility. Site Capture is also a tool that creates a specialized type of frameset. It captures any page you specify -- and regardless of the url of that page, only the address at which the frameset page resides ever shows in the browser address box. At the same time, it optionally encrypts the source url -- so the browser menu view-source will not reveal the true address of the page the visitor sees. Optional status bar cloaking is also included, to help obscure the url's in the page from the browser status bar. Also included: Optionally, show an alert box message, prior to opening your page. Site Capture is for you, if you have any of the following requirements: ￭ Your pages are on a "free server" or a server with only an IP number -- but you want the address of another domain you host to show in the browser address box ￭ You want your real page source address encrypted, so visitors cannot read it when they use the browser menu view-source to view your frameset code ￭ You don't want individual page addresses exposed in the browser url box ￭ You have pages on one or more different servers; but you want only one domain name to show in the browser address box ￭ You want to be able to help cloak individual page addresses from the browser status bar ￭ You want to hide the true address of a pdf file from the address box and title bar ￭ You want an alert box ahead of opening the page for visitor notifications or messages. Requirements: ￭ Internet Explorer (IE) 4.0 or later ￭ Minimum suggested screen resolution 640x480; 96dpi standard.
