Simple Radio Recorder, as the name implies is an easy-to-use software utility that allows music enthusiasts create audio albums of their favorite songs recorded directly from the Internet. This simple program helps users record podcasts, Satellite or Internet radio broadcasts. It not only acts as a recorder but it can also playback recordings or live broadcast radio tunes. Comprehensive and accessible interfaceThe interface of the application consists of a single window, that does not take too much space on the desktop allowing users easy navigation and access to its controls. Record podcasts and radio tunesUpon initializing the recorder software, users can access the scheduler settings. From there, they can specify the date and time or enter a time interval in hours, minutes and seconds of when they want the application to start, as well as wake up from Sleep Mode or Hibernation Mode. Then, recording parameters can be set, such as the filename, the title of the recording or the genre. It is easy to recognize and select the right music style because users have the possibility to choose the genre from a richly-featured drop-down list. Users can improve the recording quality by adjusting audio parameters, such as channels, sample size or rate. Also, they can choose not to interfere with these settings and not alter the original audio format. Save recordings to MP3 or WAV formatsTwo compression methods are available: MPEG Layer-3 stream and PCM, that allow users to save their recordings as MP3 or WAV files. Recordings can be stopped at any moment. In addition to that, when the recording is over, users can play songs from other selected files, programs or webpages, as well as configure the software tool to exit immediately, power-off, hibernate, go into sleep mode, log off, reboot or lock system and exit. A useful feature is that Simple Radio Recorder can run from Sys Tray when minimized. In conclusionThe application does not put a strain on the computer's hardware because it runs on low system memory and CPU resources.
