Shutdown Delay Description

Shutdown Delay is a lightweight and simple-to-use application which allows you to schedule a power management function for your computer. The interface of the software is based on a small, standard window in which you can select the shutdown type between shut down, restart, log off or lock computer. So, all you have to do is specify a date and time for the shutdown and schedule the task by clicking the "Start Timer" button. In addition, you can enable Shutdown Delay to force programs to close without warning, enable notices (e.g. every 30 or 10 minutes), adjust the transparency level and set the application to stay on top of other processes. The straightforward program runs on a very low amount of system resources, has a good response time, includes a brief help file for novices, minimizes to the system tray and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. On the other hand, some key elements are missing. For example, you cannot set a countdown timer and enable Shutdown Delay to automatically run at system startup.
