SetIP Description

SetIP is a lightweight Windows application built specifically for helping users manage the IP address for their network printers. It sports a clean and simple interface that points out to the fact that the accent doesn’t fall upon the looks of the program but rather on its functionality. Basically, it proves to be extremely easy to work with this tool, as it automatically searches for network devices and displays the model and printer name directly in the primary panel. Plus, the utility is able to offer information about the MAC and IP addresses. Other notable characteristics worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to refresh the current information with just one click and manually set up the dedicated parameters related to MAC and IP addresses, subnet mask, and default gateway. Since it doesn’t comprise many configuration settings, even rookies can master the process with just a few clicks. During our testing we have noticed that SetIP carries out a task quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small application, it remains light on the system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality. To sum things up, SetIP offers a simple yet efficient software solution when it comes to helping you view and change the IP address for network printers on the breeze.
