Security Folders XP Description

Secure Folders XP is a software with a title that pretty much explains its purpose - it allows you to provide a security level to your folders. Upon setup initialization, you are required to set the master password. It is also necessary when you want to uninstall the tool. The interface of Secure Folders XP is very plain and easy to navigate through. Items can be added to the list by using either the file browser or the "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed. Besides hiding a folder, Secure Folders XP also lets you make drives and files invisible. Plus, you can toggle protection mode, use a search function, explore the item's contents and change the program password. In addition, you can deny a user's access to Windows functions, such as Control Panel and date/time parameters. This option is ideal if you share your personal computer with other users. On top of that, you can enable Secure Folders XP to stay on top of other processes and to protect after exit and on Windows startup, activate an icon in the system tray and protect it with the password, configure keyboard shortcuts, change the interface font and language, and more. Secure Folders XP runs on a low amount of system resources, includes a complete help file with snapshots and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests.
