ScanReg Description

ScanReg is a lightweight tool that you can use to scan the Windows registry in order to search for a string to extract registry keys and values. The Windows registry is a hierarchical database in which your computer keeps configuration settings that belong to operating system components and applications that are installed. The keys are containers and the values are the files that exist within them. ScanReg allows you to perform in depth scans and locate the strings you require and is also capable of exporting them to a file. The application doesn’t come with any kind of user interface.
