SaSync is a simple program designed for synchronizing files and folders either locally or via network in background. It's primary function is the synchronization of data with a file server, but it can also be used for synchronizing data with external devices. Main features: SaSync runs in background with low priority, so that you can work normally during the synchronization. It only synchronizes files which are changed. Synchronizing of multiple computers with one file server is supported. The program synchronizes any network or local folder (e. g. your computer and an external hard drive). Files are recopied until the md5 checksum is the same in both synchronization locations. It is possible to create simple rules for which file to take, if the file was changed in both synchronization locations (to prevent the program from asking which file to copy). Prevention of deleting files in certain folders is possible (important for synchronization on an external hard drive as backup). You can select subfolders which should not be synchronized.
