ReplCompare Description
ReplCompare will allow users compare two transactional replication environments, while also being able to create scripts of Publications, Articles, Subscriptions or Pull Subscriptions. There are many ways to generate differencing scripts. Objects are put into three objects groups Publications, Subscriptions and Articles. Each object group can have up to four comparison groups Exist Different, Exist Source, Exist Destination and Identical. · Object groups – If you Right Click on one of the object groups you will be able to generate a script of all the objects in the group for either the Source or Destination Publisher. · Comparison groups – You can Right Click on one of the comparison groups to script out all the objects in the comparison group. · Objects – You can Right Click on the object and generate a script for the single object. In the Article object group there is a special comparison group, the Exist Different group that shows up when there are partitioned articles. Objects in this group will have a special option of compare when Right Clicked. This will bring up a side by side text compare of the articles. Main features: Compare Publications, Articles, Subscriptions and Pull Subscriptions View side by side differences in partitioned Articles Create syncronization scripts of Publications, Articles, Subscriptions and Pull Subscriptions
