In a blinding flash, the eastern industrial zone turned to vapor Fire fell from the sky and spread quickly through the city The eastern king started up his nukes and targeted the southern kingdom. Northern diplomats urgently shouted, "It's a meteor-- the South launched nothing" The east would not listen-- the south had to pay-- and nuclear fire rained down on the south, reducing it to sand As nuclear fire spread quickly through the south, they launched unknown bio weapons against the east. Billions of souls were suddenly thrust into the ethereal realms, but some were not ready to go Drawn by strong desires for life and revenge, thousands of souls used advanced biotech bodies to re-enter The Realm of Exile. Today, many years later Untouched by war or disaster, the North is a thriving, busy hub of modern activity. Most people drive cars to work, some take the train or the bus. What few survived in the east have transformed dramatically. The environment has altered the people and animals. Mutations from radiation or bio weaponry have given special abilities to some. Magic is rising as a power to rival technology. An uneasy peace settled between the rich North, and the impoverished east. Now the east believes the North planned it this way all along, and they expect reparations. It is only a matter of time before the Eastern Queen raises her magical forces against the mechanized armies of the North.
