ReName-O-Matic 2000 Description

The Rename-O-matic 2000 application was developed to be a simple file naming utility. It is can perform two types of renaming tasks: Filter Renaming and Batch Renaming. 1) Filter Rename: The filter option allows you to convert a single character (A) in the name of file to another character (B) or delete that character (A) from the files name. You can only enter a single character at a time except for blank spaces which can be represented as 'spc' 2) Batch Rename: This feature allows you select several files and give them a common name plus a incremented number. * if a files extention is less than 1 character or more than 4 it will be changed to '.ukn' Tips / notes: - if a file is locked and can't be renamed it won't be - and you won't get an error. - the copy process takes much longer than the rename process - the more files, the longer it takes. - the default directory is the directory the program is in.
