RPC Description

RPC was designed to be a RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) stack-oriented scientific calculator. If you're not familiar with RPN (used widely in Hewlett Packard calculators), there are numerous texts that deal with their operation. Basically, RPN calculators contain a stack of (often four) registers into which data is entered, either manually or by virtue of the implementation of a function. Postfix notation is used and there is no 'equals (=)' key as in ordinary four-bangers.
