RM Player Description

As the name of this lightweight program implies, RM Player allows you to play video clips with the RM format. It can be easily handled, even by inexperienced individuals. The app comes with a plain and uncomplicated interface where you can import videos by using only the file browser because the 'drag and drop' method is not supported. It is possible to add multiple files at once and create a playlist. So, you can use some basic media player functions, such as pause and stop, adjust the volume, switch to full screen mode and navigate back and forth within the clip. Additionally, you can use a search function within the playlist, change the aspect ratio, adjust the speed, audio or subtitle delay, hide the playlist, take a screenshot, as well as make RM Player stay on top of other applications and to remember the current playlist. The video player uses a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and supports keyboard shortcuts. We have not encountered any error dialogs in our tests and RM Player did not freeze or crash. It interface needs some improvements. No recent updates have been made to the tool.
