Quick-Linx provides Microsoft Windows users the ability to quickly and easily link multiple line of business applications to a search engine of their choice.With Quick-Linx, a hotkey is assigned using a point and click graphical interface. This hotkey, when activated, calls a web based search engine (like Google, Yahoo, SharePoint, ERP, Document Management, etc) and passes the highlighted data to the search service as the query parameter.This methodology provides a seamless and rapid integration that users can install and maintain without burdening their IT department. Quick-Linx removes the extra keystrokes required to copy and paste or re-key data into the search interface. By eliminating this re-keying, users are more efficient and keying mistakes are eliminated.
