QUAC Description

The name QUAC stands for QUick Access Characters. This little application sits in your system tray until summoned by a right click of the mouse or the keyboard short cut Ctrl-Q. When activated a small menu will pop-up under the mouse pointer, this menu gives access to 5 currency symbols £,€,¥,$,¢ and 12 other semi-common symbols that are not standard on all keyboard. It should also be noted that this program was designed for the standard Times New Roman (Western) font and it's derivatives. Due to the large variation in fonts some characters may not appear correctly under other fonts. This is not a bug at least not in the conventional sense instead it is a limitation imposed by the font makers who have failed to create a standard template for extended character distribution within the font file.
