Python To EXE Description

Python To EXE is a small-sized and portable application with a self-explanatory name - it lets you turn Python files (PY format) into executable items (EXE). It does not include complex configuration parameters, making it ideal for all types of users, even the ones with no experience in conversion software. Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the program files on any location on the hard drive and just click the executable to run. It is also possible to save Python To EXE to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any machine with minimum effort and without previous installers. What's important to keep in mind is that the tool does not add new entries to the Windows registry or Start menu, leaving the HDD clean after removal. The interface is represented by a small window with a minimalistic layout, where the "what you see is what you get" concept certainly applies, since there are no other options provided by this utility except for the two buttons visible in the main frame. In order to convert a Python file to EXE, all you have to do is establish the source file and output location and name, using the file browser (drag-and-drop is not supported for import). Unfortunately, batch processing is not featured, so you can convert only one file at a time. Python To EXE runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer. It has a good response time and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error messages.
