Proxy Switch Description

Proxy Switch is an easy to use program designed to help you switch from one proxy server to another with just a few clicks. Once installation comes to an end, you meet a very simple interface, although the options displayed there may confuse some rookies. Plus, there's no help file displayed in the main window, and that's one of the problems, but in case you're looking for a manual, make sure to open the “Options” screen, there's one available right there. The main window is split on tabs, so you can see all the listed proxies or access statistics. The interesting fact is that Proxy Switch doesn't automatically search for proxies on the Internet, but instead it lets you import them from stand-alone PSL or TXT files. Every single proxy is displayed alongside the number of successful and unsuccessful connection attempts, while the main window also lets you easily enable a proxy by clicking on a separate check box. The options screen plays a key role because it features configuration options concerning the listen port, connection timeout, socket buffer size and the time to disable proxy. Plus, there are multiple parameters to be configured when it comes to the task of switching active proxies, so pay attention to every single option. Proxy Switch doesn't affect system performance, but it works very well on all Windows versions, without the need for administrator privileges. While it doesn't feature proxy scanning, it still remains a handy tool that automatically switches used proxies and helps you remain anonymous all the time.
