If you use a PC which might be accessed by others it could be important to avoid that everybody is able to review e.g. your favorites, the browser history or the content of the clipboard. In many cases it might be impossible to create your own user account or others gain unauthorized acces to your account by password mining etc. ProtectX keeps your data safe because ProtectX must not be installed on the system. You may use ProtectX on an USB stick simply by doubleclicking the executable file. Leave the application and its data on the stick. Nothing will remain on the target system. ProtectX seems to be only a little Windows calculator but it is much more. A shortcut will open your personal area. You may create your personal key to encrypt your files (Pro version only) so they can only be decrypted by this individual key. You may store personal links in ProtectX instead of the browser favorites which might be inspected by admins etc. Even if you store the application on the computer its files are encrypted and not useable for others. And even if one knows the ProtectX shortcut, if your personal area is password protected no access to this area is possible without your password.
