Power Usage Meter Description

The Power Usage Meter application was designed to help you record your power usage over time. It uses and cheap hardware (Arduino) to capture the flashing LED on the electricity meter. To trigger the data readout, currently a button is attached to digital pin 2. To prevent the Arduino to reset on USB plug in, the resistor coming from the DTR line of the FTDI chip going to the reset pin (R3) is made removable. Requirements: ￭ Arduino Deicimila platform
