PointLayout Description

PointLayout is a new layout manager designed to make the GUI development process simpler and more inuitive. It is one of the few gridless layout managers available. By being gridless, it offers a lot more control for a lot less code. The PointLayout layout manager positions Components using the 9 points of a Component (or Container). These 9 points are as follows: TOPLEFT, TOP, TOPRIGHT, LEFT, CENTER, RIGHT, BOTTOMLEFT, BOTTOM, & BOTTOMRIGHT. By positioning one of these points of a Component with the point of another Component (or the Component's Container) - GUIs just snap into place.
