Picture Rescue Description

There are a lot of people who own a camera and who like to rely on it to capture great moments from their vacation or from their day-to-day life. However, their cards can sometimes get corrupted or deleted by mistake, so an application like Picture Rescue can come in handy. The utility installs without any issue and it provides you with an intuitive graphic interface so that you can retrieve your lost photos even if you are not a computer expert. Picture Rescue automatically scans for compatible cards, such as SD cards, miniSD Cards, microSD Cards, Sony Memory Stick, SmartMedia or xD-Picture Card, as well as USB Memory Card. Furthermore, you have great chance of restoring your pics if your camera features one of the following manufacturers: Agfa, Canon, Casio, Epson, Fuji, Fujifilm, HP, Kodak, Konica, Leica, LG, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Polaroid, Ricoh, Samsung, SanDisk, Sony, Toshiba and others. Depending on the manufacturer, some formatted cards might not be eligible for file recovery. Once the card has been scanned and the recoverable images have been detected, they will be displayed as thumbnails or as items within a detailed list, and you can select the ones you want to restore. You can even adjust the zoom level to make sure you have chosen the correct photo. When it comes to the actual recovery, you simply need to select the target location and Picture Rescue automatically creates a dedicated folder where all selected items are saved. All in all, Picture Rescue can come in quite handy to those who want to retrieve data from a damaged card or whose contents has been accidentally erased. Those who are pleased with its functions can purchase a license and restore as many images as they need. Reviewed by Giorgiana Arghire, last updated on January 7th, 2014
