PhotoSpread Description

PhotoSpread is a handy, Java based tool designed to extend the spreadsheet metaphor to tag and organize photos. Photo tags are attribute/value pairs, such as 'numPeople:4", 'date:04/02/2008'. Spreadsheet cells may hold sets of photos. Cells are populated via formulas that select photos via the photo tags. Formulas can refer to the contents of other cells, as the spreadsheet metaphor suggests. In addition, dragging photos to a cell with an attached formula will coerce the photos' tags to satisfy the formula.
