Peacock Color Picker Description

Peacock Color Picker is a simple free program that will let you pick any color of any pixel displayed on your screen. You will also be able to pick a color from an image file, and save your selected colors as JPG files. Furthermore, you will have the option of choosing the code format of your selected color, among many popular formats used by different applications - for example, CYMK, RGB, HSL, HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Visual Basic, Borland Delphi, etc. With this application, you will have two ways of picking a color. The first one is choosing a part of your screen by holding your mouse and dragging it over an area. With this, from the captured image you will be able to pick a color moving the mouse pointer over it. It's also important to stress that the image can be captured by using a zooming factor from 50% to 450%. The second way is picking a color from an image file. However, I can say that this second method is not as easy as it seems, because the program doesn't offer any scroll bars after it loads an image. Another good feature that comes in the version 2.0 is that the program includes a "Colorpedia" (The Color Encyclopedia) where 11 complete collections of color shades will be available in order to help you to select perfect combinations for your designs.
