PcrPro1K Description

PCR Professional was the first program made for ICom PCR1000, and now has support for the PCR100, PCR1500 and PCR2500 receivers. PCR Professional Program written By Jay L. Bray. The 1997 Dayton Hamvention saw the introduction of another computer-only receiver designed to go head-to-head with the WR-1000i. Icom had decided to try its hand in this new market by introducing the PCR1000. Many people were quite skeptical upon viewing this new radio. It was a simply black box that attached to the PC via serial cable. But its simple appearance bellied the capabilities contained within.
