Pan-Oh!-Rama Description

The Pan-Oh!-Rama VST plugin was developed to be a powerful dual filter modulated by six lfo's. Effects range from autopan, tremolo and filtersweeps to pure fm-madness. First of all, Pan-Oh!-Rama is not just a simple autopanner. It's an LFO driven Auto-Panner/Tremolo/Dual Filter that runs synced to your host application. It can also be MIDI controlled which can be used for atmospheric pads or interesting rhytmic patterns. Pan-Oh!-Rama comes in two falvours, Mono and Stereo. The Stereo version uses stereo filters while the Mono version sums the inputs and uses a mono filter to save on resources. Now let's look at the various parts of Pan-Oh!-Rama. The 6 LFO stages is what generates the modulation signals. The basic settings are Waveform, Time, FM, Modulation Depth and MIDI Trig. - Waveform: All in all there are 18 different waveforms to choose from. They range from standard sinewaves and sawwaves to less common shark, interpolated random and ripsaw waveforms. The waveforms are set by clicking the box and dragging the mouse up and down like a slider. In the Off mode the LFO uses 0% cpu saving resources. - Time: Time is based on note values where the shortest note is a 64th triplet and the longest note is one bar. - FM: This is only found on stage 2, 3, 5 and 6 and uses the previous LFO for FM modulation. This means that LFO1 can FM modulate LFO2 which in turn modulates LFO3 for some really wild modulation signals. - Mod: Modulation Depth controls how strong the modulation signal from the LFO should be. This parameter can also be set to negative values meaning modulation will be inverted. - MIDI: The top left MIDI setting enables MIDI Trig. When active the LFO will restart on Note On messages. Meaning you can use Pan-Oh!-Rama on a synth playing a pad sound where each note
