POKLUDA Dictionary Description

POKLUDA Dictionary is intended to expand and test your knowledge of foreign languages. You can store, browse, search, export/import and print the vocabulary. The program comes with two full dictionaries (Cambridge English 1. & 2.) and the Learning Agent, whose function is to display the test's dialogues at predefined time intervals. POKLUDA Dictionary lets you modify existing dictionaries, by adding new words or updating existing ones. You can also create a new dictionary, which will be saved in its own file. Once a dictionary is open, the program contains two different views. The first view displays all the vocabulary in the form of a list. This view is very useful for quick browsing. When you click on a word in this view, then the status bar at the bottom of the screen will dispay how successful you have been in tests with this word. You can also use this view to quickly find a word by pressing a leading character on the keyboard (the dictionary must be sorted by one of the two languages). The second view shows just one word on the screen, with all its details. This view is used whenever you enter new words, modify or delete the existing words. You can work with the whole dictionary or with just a subset. If you want you can select one lesson and then work with just words from this lesson or you can select all words with which you've had problems in tests.
