PLT Import for IntelliCAD Description

PLT Import is a HPGL plot PLT file import IntelliCAD plug-in. This plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to import geometric data from HPGL PLT files. PLT is the Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language designed for specifying 2D graphical information for the HP range of plotters. It was not intended as an interchange format but some software suppliers use it as such. PLT is a command set embedded in the ROM of pen plotters to help reduce the work required by applications programmers to create plotted output. PLT uses two-letter mnemonics as instructions for drawing lines, circles, text, and simple symbols. PLT plot files contain information regarding the movement of the pen of the HP plotter. PLT Import for IntelliCAD converts these pen movements into corresponding entities and adds them to the active drawing. The 'PLTImport' menu consists of the following commands: · PLTImport - Imports a PLT file. · PLTImportHelp - Displays the PLT Import for IntelliCAD help file. · PLTImportRegister - Registers your copy of PLT Import for IntelliCAD. · PLTImportAbout - Displays the PLT Import for IntelliCAD About box PLT Import for IntelliCAD comes with detailed documentation for each command as well as a tutorial to get you started in the shortest possible time.
