PESView Description

PESView is a lightweight Windows application built specifically for helping you view the content stored by various types of embroidery design files, such as PEC, PES, PCS, DST, and SEW file format. Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to open embroidery files on the fly, without having to go through installation steps. The layout is intuitive enough to be configured without having to consult a help manual or watch online tutorials. The program gives you the possibility to upload files into the working environment using the built-in browse function or “drag and drop” operations. What’s more, you can zoom in or out and check the information about the design displayed in the primary panel, such as design, number or colors, width and height, as well as number of stitches. PESView lets you export the image uploaded in the primary panel to DST or PCS file format, and rotate the picture to different angles. On the downside, you cannot switch to a full screen mode, so you have to handle the zooming options for examining the embroidery design. During our testing we have noticed that PESView carries out a task quickly, provides very good image quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered. All things considered, PESView seems to be the right choice in case you are looking for a simple-to-use graphic viewer that enables you to open embroidery designs and perform conversion operations.
