Pros: It is a powerful windows program that will help you convert your PDF files to usable and editable DXF files quickly and easily, so you can recover the entities in PDF to corresponding DWG entities easily. DXF generated is compatible with many popular CAD systems, such as AutoCAD, IntelliCAD, etc. DXF is a high quality, high performance, full featured, and simple to use and popular drawing format. AutoCAD or any of these other drawing programs are not required for this conversion. This freestanding program can do the conversions necessary. Batch conversion is supported. The user interaction panel opens with the selection of files function. Select/edit to create a final list of PDF files to be converted. You could add a folder too to select a bunch of these files. Then select an output folder. There are some output options one can choose. These are grouped into 3 tabs. General settings take care of if all pages of the PDF is to be converted or selected pages are to be converted and then opened after conversion. Scale of the drawing can be chosen too. If existing DXFs are to be overwritten and subfolders are to be created also can be selected at this time. Input settings tab define if the input file is protected by password and if background layer also is to be converted. Image PDF file tab sets if the embedded images are to be converted. This is about embedded raster images in the PDF files. The conversion process restores layers in the PDF file and supports all PDF entities such as poly-lines, polygons and text etc. Cons: No obviously problematic issues noticed. It would need extensive testing using all the entity types and checking with various versions of AutoCAD and other drawing packages to establish proper working. User feedback could be useful.
