If you have a large PDF file and needed to split it in different pieces or wanted to create a large PDF by combining pieces, this is a tool that could be useful. It will also help remove blank pages. Auto detection of blank pages is based on a threshold of black pixels on a page. When a page contains lesser black pixels than the threshold, it will be identified as a blank page. Sometimes the binding holes, such as the series of holes in a spiral binding, would give a false negative; treating the page as a non-blank page. To avoid these problems, one could specify margin areas. These will be ignored when deciding if a page is blank. All pages, all even or odd pages and all specified pages are the different modes in which documents could be combined. Documents could be gathered in a batch. Having selected the documents, if you need to change the order in which these are to be merged that could be done simply by moving them up or down the list. Document properties and security settings could be changed easily through the editor provided. Bookmarks can be imported. Splitting of documents could be done as easily with this tool. All the operations can be carried out without the need for any other tools. Even the Acrobat tools are not required at all. This is a very good tool and could be good trial candidate.
