PDF Annotator Description

video prev next Windows operating system doesn't provide you with a default program for reading and editing your PDF documents. For this reason, applications like PDF Annotator were created. This utility provides you with a wide range of editing options, comes with a comprehensive help manual, and has an intuitive interface. The main toolbar of this program as well as the panel from the left side of the screen might seem at first a bit overwhelming as they reveal a large amount of icons and buttons. However, the utility allows you to customize the appearance of the interface according to your needs and you can hide the elements or tools you don't require while editing your PDF documents. You can use this application to read PDFs, annotate them (add stamps, images, geometrical shapes, etc.), crop sections from their pages if needed, and even extract text content from the imported documents. All of these built-in options work perfectly. What's more, once you finish editing your PDF, you can print or share it directly from the app's interface. Still, the app provides you with a limitation: you can save the edited PDF to only one output format (PDF). This option can be found in the File panel of the utility. However, in my testing, I found a way to extract certain sections or even entire pages from the PDF document and save them as image files. The Snapshot utility can be found in the Tools menu and allows you to capture areas from the main window and export the content to various image formats or save it to your clipboard. So, the program doesn't offer you support for text formats, such as DOC, TXT, RTF, etc. Another drawback is that PDF Annotator is a bit pricey if you compare it to other apps of its kind. Even though the program provides you with many useful features and quality results, I still don't think it's worth paying this much for a PDF editor, especially if you don't plan on using it on a daily basis.
