PCHand Screen Recorder is a basic and functional screen recorder. It can create a video recording of your computer screen in two modes: full screen or selected region. The full screen mode records everything that you do after you have clicked on the "start" button. The "selected region" mode allows you to set a recording area anywhere on your screen. This area will be highlighted with a flashing rectangle, and you will be able to see a preview of the area. The area has to be set manually by increasing or decreasing its size in pixels. You can't just drag and drop the area to set it. Additionally, you can select an active window for your recording. PCHand Screen Recorder supports audio recordings as well. The application can use your microphone to add audio to your video. There is a variety of formats supported for audio and video. By default, the app uses .AVI with standard compression for videos. I like the fact that PCHand Screen Recorder records the movement of the pointer of your mouse and puts a colored circle on it that moves as you move your pointer.
