The program gives you the possibility to set up a master password, which is needed for locking or unlocking your desktop, as well as for accessing the utility’s features. What’s more, you can change the current password and lock your screen for a user-defined time (in minutes). Plus, when the time expires, the utility is able to automatically unlock the screen. During the locking mode, the Task Manager is disabled in order to prevent other users from closing the running process. Since it doesn’t require much computer knowledge to work with this tool, even rookies can master the entire process with just a few clicks. During our testing we have noticed that OSAS Computer Locker carries out the locking process very quickly and without errors. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected. All things considered, OSAS Computer Locker seems to be the right choice in case you are looking for a simple-to-use lockdown application that comes bundled with only a few configuration settings to tinkers with. It would have been useful to see support for customizable options in order to change the background color and image, and scheduling operations.
