When Microsoft Exchange Out of Office Assistant is switched on, then every sender gets an Out of Office mail back only once When Microsoft Exchange Out of Office Assistant is switched on, then every sender gets an Out of Office mail back only once. If you would like to send such mails more than once (e.g. once per day), you will need OOF-Reset. Out of Office mails are sent only once per sender. Sometimes it would be nice, or it is necessary to send those mails more than once (e.g. once per day or once per week). To send Out of Office mails to the same recipient more than once, it is necessary to switch off and on (reset) the Exchange Out of Office Assistant (this will clear the built-in list of sent mails). Unfortunately, Microsoft Exchange does not provide any mechanism to to this, therefore OOF-Reset was created.
