Editor's review: Have you ever thought of replacing the default Windows Notepad editor with something more powerful and efficient? If so, have a look at the free Notepad And 1/2. Notepad And 1/2 is a simple plain text editor which doesn't differ much from the original Notepad in terms of interface but supercedes it in features. Unlike the Windows Notepad, this editor doesn't have any restrictions on file size and supports rich text format (RTF). It has most needed tools for working with plain and formatted text. You could count words, lines and characters, find and replace text, invert case, capitalize words and turn them to lower case, work with font styles, sizes and colors in RTF. The Light edition of the program that is just under 90K in size does not feature RTF support and is a perfect replacement for Windows Notepad.
