The program has been designed as general program for security cross platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same appearance and functionality on the local and distant computers. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the program through net that surveillance pc can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition considerably improves reliability because all modules work as autonomous programs. If one unit fails, other modules keep on working. For instance if the `record` component stops working, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture using a `playback` unit. The program does `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote station via Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
