NetStatus Professional Description

NetStatus Professional provides a centralized system management tool that continuously monitors server availability and performance. In the event of network errors, NetStatus Professional can alert the Network Administrator by email, cell phone or pager BEFORE problems get seriously out of hand. Configuration and monitoring features are available via a Web Browser interface, which means that no matter were you are on your corporate LAN you can log into NetStatus Professional and see the current status of your network. NetStatus Professional is a real must have for any company that uses a IT Equipment. What's New In This Release Embedded Database NetStatus Professional originally used XML as a data store. This severely limited the amount of data the application was able to store, so a database server has been added in this release. You can customize how much data you want the software to store in the Database tab of the settings are. Adding the database will allow us to start adding complex reports and Analysis to the software in the future. New Help System As NetStatus Professional has grown, the help file has grown with it. An entirely new help system was implemented in this release that provides keyword searching, a glossary, table of contents and index features. New Uptime Report A new Uptime Report was added that shows each test and a summary of their uptime over a given period of time. New Event Report A new Event Report was added that allows you to view all events over a specific period of time. New Chart Reports The four charts in the main display, Daily Availability, Test Continuity, Availability Pie and Test Detail are all available as printable reports Now. Detail Report Customization The Detail Report now allows for choosing a date range for the data presented in the charts and event list. Filtering is possible on the event list as well.
